This was tucked in the back of the campus of a small college in downtown Tokyo. I'm Japanese, and we do and say weird things, but I'm not sure what "CARAVAN TOKYO" means, and I don't care because it's very cool. See how the tires are sunk-in below the wooden deck by cutting out a hole? Yes. It's very 2016 (because it was)
If you can name one spot anywhere in the world that looks like this, please let me know because I was simply taken aback by the sheer beauty of Kyoto. This is Katsura River near Arashiyama in Kyoto. Tourists can go up and down the calm river and soak in the serenity. I mean, it's not hard to do. What was amazing, as you see, was the contrast of sizes (thanks, me), the height of the forest going up so steeply was simply breathtaking. Call me biased, but Japan sure has beautiful sights.
They don't make these things anymore, do they? What a nice find. As life moves forward, and we have so many gadgets within our grasp, we start to forget how things used to be. Honestly, I don't remember the ear holder ever being yellow, do you?
